About Our Company

I am Dominique, originally from France. I have been living in the Washington, D.C. area for a very long time.

A constant in my life has always been the dogs. I do not recall a time without them.

As a kid, I was raised with Belgian Tervurens in France. Then after crossing the Atlantic came Douchka the shepherd, Pouch the Golden retriever, Sammie the Cairn, and then the labs…. So many of them. No offense to others, but they are just my breed: smart, sweet with a sense of humor! From Jet to Zeus, Hunter, Lola, Maia, George, Jackson, Max, Sophie, Zoe and now my Z-Boys: Zeke and Ziggy. Yes, I can get dizzy looking back, and yes sometimes, memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

After building, owning and managing K9 Aquatic Center for the last ten years, it was time for me to close that huge chapter of my life and to go with the dogs aka “Tummy Rubs Etc.”

Because, you see, I can’t be without dogs around!
